Delivering a powerful 1.4kW high-torque output, this compact, lightweight starter is built to crank high-compression and performance-built engines with ease—far outperforming tired factory units.

Designed specifically for 164-tooth early manual transmissions, this starter features a 3/8" (9.5mm) offset and a .290" pinion from base, ensuring strong, reliable engagement. It does not suit T5 conversions, so be sure to confirm your locating step diameter of 4.130" (104.9mm) for correct fitment.
