1 TERMS
You, and any person who uses a Gift Card, agree to be bound by these Terms.


2 PURCHASING A GIFT CARD
You can purchase a Gift Card from STA Parts store.

You must choose the initial value of your Gift Card at the time of purchase.  The minimum value is $20.00 and the maximum value is $1000.

Your Gift Card will be activated at the time of purchase at the same time credit is loaded.


3 USING YOUR GIFT CARD
Your Gift Card is only redeemable for merchandise sold by STA Parts, and can be used for purchases in our store.  Your Gift Card is only valid in New Zealand .

Your Gift Card is not returnable or redeemable for cash and cannot be used towards the purchase of another Gift Card.

If the price is less than the value remaining on your Gift Card, the balance will remain on your Gift Card for use on future purchases.

If you wish to use your Gift Card to purchase merchandise at a price exceeding the value remaining on your Gift Card, you must pay the excess using another payment method. 

We are happy to exchange your goods, within 14 days with proof of purchase, providing the goods are in their original condition.  Alternatively, we will re-issue a gift card to the value of the returned item/s.

Where you have used both a Gift Card and another payment method in a single transaction, any refund to be applied will be issued to a new gift card as store credit.

Refunds will only be given If the merchandise is faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Gift cards cannot be used to pay store accounts.


4 EXPIRY
Your Gift Card expires 12 months from the date of purchase.

Any unused balance remaining on your Gift Card at expiry will not be refunded or credited by us.


5 CANCELLATION
STA Parts reserves the right to cancel any Gift Card, or the Gift Card programme for any reason at any time without notice.  In such event, the balance on all unexpired Gift Cards will be refunded upon presentation of the Gift Card."


6 RESPONSIBILITY
You should treat your Gift Card like cash.  Your card cannot be replaced, and we shall not be responsible for unauthorised use of your card or for any card that is lost, stolen or damaged.


7 GENERAL TERMS
Amendments: We may amend these Terms from time to time by updating them on our website.

Force Majeure: We shall not be in breach of these Terms, or otherwise liable to you, for delay in performance or non-performance of our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including, for example, any power shortages or systems failures).

Law: These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with and governed by the laws of New Zealand .


8 DEFINED TERMS AND INTERPRETATION
In these Terms, the following words have the following special meanings: 
"Gift Card" means a gift card issued by us; 
"online" means online at http://www.staparts.co.nz
"Terms" means these terms, together with the terms set out on the back of a Gift Card, as amended from time to time; 
"we", "our", "us" means STA Parts; and
"you" means the purchaser of the Gift Card and any holder of the Gift Card for the time being.

For convenience, these Terms have been grouped under headings, but the headings do not affect the meaning of these Terms.
